Aclymate provides a clear pathway to climate success and gives you some great tools along the way to show off these accomplishments. Listed here are the certifications that you can earn, and how to earn them.
Climate Wise- Bronze
Climate Wise Bronze Tier indicates that your organization has taken the first steps towards measuring your organization's emissions footprint. By subscribing to Aclymate's robust carbon accounting solution you're well on you way toward achieving your climate goals.
Climate Wise- Silver
Climate Wise Silver Tier is earned by establishing your baseline accounting year. This means that you have accounted for all Scope emissions (1-3) to the best of your abilities. In order to achieve this goal we recommend that users adopt a hybrid accounting method using both activity based accounting methods as well as spend based methods to ensure that all data is included. With our spend based accounting tools and our integrations that sync up to your accounting software, we are able to import all of these directly into the application to categorize. Once all emissions for your baseline year have been accounted for you have the ability to close the books for that year, and set your baseline. NOTE: If you choose an accounting year that dates back several years, you will need to also complete all accounting for those years and close them out as well to unlock Climate Wise Silver Tier.
Climate Leader- Gold
At Aclymate we put a very high value on helping you find reductions in your emissions. To achieve the Climate Leader Gold Tier certification your organization must pledge to make at least a 5% reduction in emissions by the year 2030. Aim high!
Climate Leader- Platinum
The Climate Leader Platinum Tier is unlocked by completing all of the previous certifications and purchasing offsets for your organization's Scope 1-2 emissions. Using our robust offset marketplace you can offset your business' emissions by Scopes.
Climate Leader- Diamond
Climate Leader Diamond Tier is the highest level of certification you gain from Aclymate without committing to Net Zero. To achieve this your organization must unlock all previous certifications and also offset all Scope 3 emissions.
Net Zero Pledge
Ready to take your organization's climate commitment's to the next level? Take the Net Zero Pledge! In doing so, you'll be joining a large network of businesses that have committed to the highest standard of climate action in accordance with the Paris Accords. This pledge is a commitment to reducing your emissions by 50% by the year 2030 by engaging with reduction practices and carbon offset projects.

What to know:
For new customers:
You will be greeted by a basic checklist to confirm some basic information about your business operations, and start adding some foundational information to help us start calculating your emissions.
Once complete, you'll need to choose an accounting start year:
The start date will be Jan 1 of the year you select. IMPORTANT: note that you will be required to provide a complete historical accounting for every year you have selected.
You will then be prompted to add your offices, vendors, and employees. You are required to add at least one office, vendor, and employee in this step- but don't worry you can always add more later. For our Professional Plan subscribers this is a great time to integrate your accounting software and utility companies to automate the inputs of those key pieces of information.

Existing customers will also be greeted by the checklist as indicated above. We ask that you take the time to update any basic company information at this time and choose an accounting start year. Please note that you will need to provide a full historical accounting (Scope 1-3) for all years from the 'Accounting Start Date' that you choose in order to close your books and unlock higher certifications.
