When you first get started, you'll notice we've already started to calculate your carbon footprint right at the top:
This number, when you first view it upon creating your account, is just a preliminary estimate based on the information you've given us so far- Industry, office location, relationship with the utilities and the number of employees. As you add more information this number will change!
The information we gather to gain a better undestanding of your emissions is broken down into a few main categories: Offices, Vehicles, Employees, as well as transactions that have some emissions tied to them. On the main dashboard page you can filter through the analytics by clicking the different categories:
In each of the sub sections you can add and edit information for that particular category:

This format is true for all categories except for your transactional data- that is added a little differently, but edited in the same fashion as above. To add your transaction data click on either the 'Add a single emission' button for your one off emissions or the 'Add multiple emissions' button for adding CSVs:
Once you've uploaded some relevant transactions they'll automatically be added to your balance. You can click on individual transactions to provide more detail and thus, a more accurate emissions number will be calculated for that transaction.
In the image above, we've taken a guess at the emission category and amounts. You can click these line items to add more information which will help define a more accurate representation of your carbon footprint.
On the left side, under the Alcymate logo are a few buttons that you can use to navigate to other parts of the application. These are 'Home', 'Certification', 'Settings' and 'Purchase Offsets'.
